It’s time to slowly sink into the peace and quiet of Freycinet National Park with a stay at the secluded Freycinet Lodge. Its location in the park with incredible bush scenery, the Hazards Mountains and the azure blues of Great Oyster Bay means you get to enjoy the best of all three worlds with a truly immersive stay in nature.
Upon arrival…
Freycinet Lodge is found in an idyllic spot, off-the-grid so you can truly relax and unwind in one of Tasmania’s most picturesque locations. Before dinner, you may like to curl up by the fire with a pre-dinner aperitif at the Hazards Bar & Lounge. We’re sure you’ll feel at home in no time at all!
During your stay…
While on tour with Globus, there is an included excursion to Wineglass Bay and the Cape Tourville Lighthouse. Upon your return, you have the afternoon at leisure to do as you please. You may choose to settle in with a book and hot drink in your comfortable accommodation, book yourself in for a rejuvenating massage, or simply explore the grounds and see what wildlife you can spot.
Or if you prefer to get your heart pumping, there are a range of tracks at different lengths and difficulty so many people choose to embark on one of the nearby hikes that Freycinet National Park is so famous for. There are also options to jump into a kayak for a paddle or take to the skies for a scenic flight across the park.
Whether you’re after an adventurous or relaxing holiday, you can do it all at Freycinet Lodge!
Food and drink…
Not only will you have the opportunity to sample some of Tasmania’s finest local produce during your stay, the Freycinet Lodge’s Bay Restaurant is ideally situated with beautiful views across Great Oyster Bay. With mesmerising scenes, you may not want to leave!
Freycinet Lodge also offers the chance to indulge in their ‘Flavours of the East Coast’ food and wine tasting. You will be treated to an intimate experience with a knowledgeable staff member – a great way to experience the best of the best for the foodies out there.
