These include the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey (where the newly appointed Prince and Princess of Wales (Prince William and Catherine) were married), Downing Street, and Buckingham Palace. Now that you have the lay of the land, an afternoon at leisure is just the ticket for you to explore London. If you are a British monarchy fan, your Globus Host can help book an inside visit of Windsor Castle for you. This is the oldest, largest occupied and most-visited castle in the world with an incredible history within its four walls. If you want to dabble in some shopping, your Globus Host can point you in the right direction (Oxford Street is one of our favourite picks); or if you want to people watch with a pint at a pub, your Globus Host or GlobusGO app can assist.

Day 3

A full day at leisure awaits, the perfect way to round off your time in London!

One of the best things about London is its handy location to nearby places that can be easily done as a day trip. For example, Stonehenge or Bath are just over 2 and 1 hours away (by public transport) respectively), both unique and a must-visit. Of course, there is always plenty to see, do and eat in London city itself:

  • If you’re a foodie, don’t miss one of London’s famous food markets like Borough Market
  • If you love a good museum, take your pick from the Science Museum, The National Gallery, The V&A and much more!
  • If you’re a shopaholic, check out Selfridges (one of London’s best-known department stores), Regent Street, or the Seven Dials neighbourhood
