The Globus family of brands’ Lighthouse Project is proud to be shining a spotlight on the Freedom Trail Foundation in line with Independence Day this July.

The Freedom Trail Foundation was begun in 1964. Not only does the Foundation promote the Freedom Trail through marketing and educational programs, but it also helps to preserve the Freedom Trail for future generations.

Preserved and dedicated to the citizens of Boston, the iconic Freedom Trail invites people to walk through 250 years of history along a 4-kilometre stretch. This leads to sixteen 16th, 17th and 18th century sites, each one with its own national significance. By following the red line along the trail, you can find various parks, churches, museums and historic markers. These all showcase the American Revolution and how this has shaped America’s history since. The Freedom Trail attracts over 4 million each year to Boston.
