We are always on the hunt for the world’s hidden gems – the best places to visit that are not yet buzzing with tourists. Here are some of our under-the-radar favourites for you to check out:

Granna, Sweden

This is an entire town dedicated to the art of candy making! Stroll along cobblestone streets with colourful homes and stop in each store to watch the artisans make the famous polkagris candy.

Karlovy Vary is famous for its healing spas and whimsical architecture. Every picture you take in this quaint town could be put on a postcard – it’s just one of those towns that is so charming and is impossible not to love!

Trujillo, Peru

Trujillo is an amazing city in Northwestern Peru where both the Moche and Chimu cultures flourished between 100 AD to 1470. A must-visit in Trujillo is the pre-Columbian monuments of Chan Chan, which is the largest adobe city in the ancient world and a UNESCO site, as well as the temples of the Sun and Moon – the largest adobe pyramid in Peru.

Paia, Maui, Hawaii

With sugar cane fields on one side and Maui’s North shore on the other, Paia provides a glimpse of what an untouched Hawaii looked like in the mid-1900s. The town remains rustic – somewhat of a locals-only spot – only recently evolving to accommodate tourists.

San Gimignano, Italy

In the heart of Tuscany, it seems like you’re stepping back in time hundreds of years to the Renaissance era – but with better wine! It’s easy to be inspired there; it’s the kind of place that sticks with you forever.
