Trujillo, Peru

Trujillo is an amazing city in Northwestern Peru where both the Moche and Chimu cultures flourished between 100 AD to 1470. A must-visit in Trujillo is the pre-Columbian monuments of Chan Chan, which is the largest adobe city in the ancient world and a UNESCO site, as well as the temples of the Sun and Moon – the largest adobe pyramid in Peru.

Paia, Maui, Hawaii

With sugar cane fields on one side and Maui’s North shore on the other, Paia provides a glimpse of what an untouched Hawaii looked like in the mid-1900s. The town remains rustic – somewhat of a locals-only spot – only recently evolving to accommodate tourists.

In the heart of Tuscany, it seems like you’re stepping back in time hundreds of years to the Renaissance era – but with better wine! It’s easy to be inspired there; it’s the kind of place that sticks with you forever.
